Singer Prince Black Album has been discovered in Canada.
One Prince rarest vinyl album which is supposed to be hard funk that contains some of his darkest lyrics and was released in 1987, which he demanded to be destroy as he had changed his spirituality has turned up in Canada.
There is still around 9 copies of the album in circulation, with 5 copies found already in the US and one copy selling for a whopping £31,500.
The album found in Canada is owned by a former employee for Warner Bros who held unto the album when it was pulped by the record company.
This led him to contact the former Warner Bros Executive Vice President Jeff Gold who now runs the memorabila store call Record Mecca and sold the previous Us The Black Album earlier in the year.
Jeff Gold said: “So I was like, How could you have a Canadian one? Such a thing doesn’t exist. Gold has now inspected the record for its authenticity and will help the owner to sell it online via marketplace Discogs.
Even though the record is not in top condition it is still likely to fetch around £20,600.
This album was something which Prince had planned to record for his percussionist Sheila E’s birthday party that was to follow on from Sign ‘O’ The Times.
Some of the songs on the album were more funky, compared to others which were very sinister such as tracks like Bob George which Prince himself playing a gun wielding psychopath that accuses his girlfriend of having an affair.
A week before the album was set for release, Prince had second thoughts and cancelled the album and asked for it to be destroyed. No video was made or any single and the bill was footed from Prince royalties to destroy over a half-a-million copies.
The album was supposed to be released without name and cover should have been in a plain black sleeve.
In the video link below of Prince video for his single Alphabet Street, a message comes across the screen telling fans “Dont buy The Black Album. I’m sorry, but somehow copies got out and became the most source after bootlegged records.

Williams is currently one of the highest ranked female tennis players in the world and arguably the best player at the moment, so missing the Wimbledon tournament will be a big blow for the sport in general.
“I put everything on the court, all for this moment.”
Having walked into the unexpected and proved the doubters wrong, Serena Williams confirmed there is more to come.
Williams said: “I put everything on the court, all for this moment”
She added: “I unfortunately been having some issues with my pectoral muscle, right now I can’t actually serve so it’s actually hard to play when I can’t physically serve.”
“It is hard to play when I can’t physically serve. I’ve never had this injury before, I’ve never felt it in my life and it was so painful.”
Williams finally said “I don’t know how to manage it.”
Dancing has a way of taking your cares away. It doesn’t matter if it’s the Electric Slide, the Macarena or your own crazy moves. Who hasn’t gotten lost in an upbeat song as they jumped around? As well as being fun, dancing might have helped us to survive as a species. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoAjE1aioHE
As much as we all love to dance when there’s nobody watching, there’s something irresistible about dancing with other people, whether it’s with a partner or a class-full of fellow booty shakers.
The findings, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, suggest that getting footloose on a regular basis is linked with a 76 percent reduction in dementia risk — about as much as playing board games or a musical instrument. Other physical activities, such as bicycling, walking and doing housework, weren’t associated with any decreased risk.
For all humans, dancing is intimately connected to our love of music and is likely to be one of our oldest cultural practices. But why would our ancestors have wasted energy on what superficially seems to serve no survival benefits? Evolutionary anthropologist Bronwyn Tarr tells us that one clue lies in the brain. When we dance with others our brains reward us with a cocktail of feel-good hormones and this likely leads to profound social effects.
Officials have warned it will take time to identify those who died from the eruption of Guatemala’s Volcano of Fire.
It is known that at least 69 people including children have died after rivers of lava made their way through mountain village. Only 17 have been identified.
An official from the National Institute of Forensic Sciences said: “It is very difficult for us to identify them because some of the dead lost their features or their fingerprints. We are going yo have to resort to other methods… and if possible take DNA samples to identify them.”
An estimated 3,271 people have been evacuated and at least 10 people wrenched to safety by the emergency crew in helicopters.
Residents didn’t have time to flee to safety, and now, rescuers are using sledgehammers to break through the roof of houses buried in debris to see if anyone is inside.
In addition, emergency workers have faced difficult conditions as smouldering terrain still hot enough to melt shoe soles while they search of survivors.
Village of San Miguel Los Lotes after the eruption
Some residents in El Rodeo, one of the worst affected villages, have criticised Conred, Guatemala’s disaster agency, for not evacuating communities quickly enough.
Rafael Letran said: “ When the lava was already here they passed by in their pickup trucks yelling at us to leave, but the cars did not stop to pick up the people.”
“The government is good at stealing, but when it comes to helping people they lack spark.”

After years of arguments and delays the plans for a third runway at Heathrow Airport are set to be approved by ministers.
This will be confirmed by Transport Secretary Chris Grayling, the Government is committed to the expansion and will present their proposals to the House of Commons for MPs to vote on later this month.
Mr Grayling will also present the fact that the other options such as expanding Gatwick or building a new airport entirely in Thames Estuary, will not be able to meet the demand for extra flights.
Supporters of the expansion say that it will safeguard domestic flights between Heathrow and regional airports such as Newcastle. As at the moment, the lack of capacity at the airport means airlines are having to choose between keeping domestic flights or introducing new international services.
However, campaigners are arguing that a new runway will breech the UK’s legal air pollution limits and increase noise pollution with an extra 700 planes a day, the decision failed to be seen as unlawful last year.
Slough Borough Council, though supporting the expansion, have criticised the plans as they mean that a school, a local trading estate and places like Wraysubry River will be demolished, alongside homes in Sipson, Longford and Harmondsworth.
Colne Valley Regional Park chairman John Whitby ponders the fragile beauty of the Wraysbury River. It will end up under the new runway if expansion goes ahead at #Heathrowpic.twitter.com/PkDhAW7oBg
