A person has died after being involved in a train accident in New Malden.
The incident has affected all train lines between Weybridge and Earlsfield, lines are closed as we know.
South Western Railway say “all power to the track has been shut off” after they received reports that a person had been struck by a train.
While British Transport Police said: “At 1.15pm today, officers were called to New Malden station to reports of an incident on the tracks.
Paramedics and air ambulance was called to the scene but the persons was pronounced dead upon there arrival.
The Officers from the British transport police “are now working to identify the person and inform their family. This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Train lines are said to be re-open soon but there will be delay all throughout the days.
Ticket holders have been informed that they will be able to use their tickets tomorrow.
