The world’s fastest runner and his other half, are expecting their first child together.
Usain Bolt and his girlfriend, known as Kasi Bennett, are expecting a child.
Ms. Bennett is a Jamaican model and managing director of Elevate Marketing House.
The pair made their relationship official in 2016 but had been dating for years before this, as Mr. Bolt wanted to keep it on the low.
Last year, he spoke about his love life to the Daily mail saying: ‘I’m not a single man, but I just don’t put my love life out there that much.’
In a previous conversation with People magazine, he had told them how much he wants to have a family one day, saying: ‘I definitely want a family, though.’
‘For me over the years, I’ve waited because I want to make sure it’s the right person. I’ve always said i want three kids.’
It’s noted that the news was confirmed by Mr. Bolt after he took to his Instagram account to post a picture of Ms. Bennett cradling her growing baby bump.
In the Picture’s caption, the 33-year-old runner said ‘I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE. @kasi.b.’
Ms. Bennett also took to her account, on the social platform, to post a picture of herself next to a Yacht, as she held a huge amount of balloons, which surrounded her.
In Ms. Bennett’s caption, she said that she and Mr. Bolt’s future child is their ‘biggest blessing. Our greatest celebration… Our golden child. Coming soon…’
In the picture, she also wore a divine cut crease, as well as elegant, red dress; announcing the news.
Many fans also took to the social platform, to congratulate the couple.
One fan and Instagram user said: ‘congratulations to both of you as you begin this new chapter in your lives (with two red heart emoji’s).’
While one follower said to Mr. Bolt: ‘I wish you and your family a great life and I hope that the mother of your child has a safe delivery.’
As another said she looked ‘Gorgeous (with one red heart emoji)’ in the pictures.
As well as another user jokingly saying that the couple are ‘breaking world records already,’ when they announced the exciting news.
