The phallogical museum in Reykjavik Iceland is ranked the worlds strangest museum. Strangely enough the whole theme of it is surrounded around the full male genitalia and penile parts, from all types of species. Having a huge collection of 280 specimens from 93 species of animals includes 55 penises taken from whales, 36 from seals and 118 from land mammals, some highly erect and some not so happy.

The Sulabh International Museum Of Toilets, in Dehli India. It’s known for having the most toilets in the world, it’s collection ranging from different time frames and different countries from around the world. The museum is dedicated to the global history of sanitation and creator and owner of this museum hopes that his work will help India’s defecation laws ( pooping on the street.) to an end, and make sure the Indian government make it possible that every Indian household has at least one toilet.

The Chez Galip Hair Museum in Avanos/Nevşehir, Turkey is known for its weird hair collection. The museum has a range of thousands of  various hair strands only from women. Female visitors tend to leave strands of hair; so that they can be displayed. once or twice a year, the locks that the owner has chosen will be contacted by the museum owner. The previous owners of the hair gets a message inviting them back for a stay in the connected guest house, and gets rewarded with workshops from the potter.

𝟜.  Number 4 on our list is the only travelling paranormal Museum that exists.

The travel museum of the paranormal and occult is the only known paranormal travel museum in the world. It contains objects that have been speculated to have been and still are haunted. Such as the Dark mirror, the corrupted testament and the black hen planchette. Just to name a few. The museum is highly talked about and appreciated by anyone and everyone that goes to visit.

Tie Dye is something that has never gone out of style its only now that the younger generation is picking up on it and incorporating it into today’s fashion.

It officially made its comeback at PFW where it was in various collection from the likes of Stella McCartney, Prada and more.

Tie dye was originally created by the Japanese and Indonesians and was quite a huge trend in the 60s and across the world worn by hippies as during that time they were associated with people who rebelled against the norms of society.

In the 70s men wore it as a continuation of Hippie fashion.

By the 1990s everyone knew about tie dye and it was quite a mainstream fashion style and was even sold in retail stores very differently to 30 years prior.

The way it has been incorporated into fashion in 2019, is about being relaxed and being an individual which is fairly similar to how it was in the past but also very different.

“This way of designing and dressing allowed complete individuality which can sometimes be lacking in fashion these days,” said Kavita Kumari, a specialist print and dye technician at London College of Fashion.

Having something that has been so controversial in the past and have it be completely reinvented to fit the fashion world today is interesting to see how it can be interpreted.

“The current awareness around buzz words like ‘fast-fashion’ and sustainability is probably partly responsible for the regeneration of tie-dye in fashion today,” said Kumari.

Fashion experts agree that its something that’s to be styled with light jeans or just jeans, is how it should be worn today.

The end of an Era for the fashion world 

For the fans of Victoria’s Secret and its angels many are getting over the leave of Adriana Lima and to add to that we’re told the show will not be airing for its annual fashion show near to the end of the year

it was made public that the Brand CEO Leslie Wexner broadcast-ed an email explaining that TV was no longer the right fit for the brand anymore nor for the digital age which we are now in

Many viewers know that last year wasn’t their best year number wise as it ranked as their worst show since it aired almost two decades ago

The fashion industry is one of the fastest changing industries that their is, there will always be new trends and most people picked up on that too

The producers still have the mindset that the weight of all the models have to be round about the same  when we’re all more or less evolving and there are women of ALL different body shapes and colors

Earlier this year Victoria’s Secret had added a few more angels to their list and they were supposed to be seen as the diverse team compared to ones they’ve cast’d in the past.

The show has come under scrutiny on many occasions but last year chief brand officer Ed Razek told Vogue  that they wouldn’t include transgender females in the show ans after backlash he cleared it up in a statement 

“My remark regarding the inclusion of transgender models in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show came across as insensitive. I apologize. To be clear, we absolutely would cast a transgender model in our show. We’ve had transgender models come to castings…And like many others, they didn’t make it. It was never about gender. I admire and respect their journey to embrace who they really are.”

The Company Memo Explained that their may be another event to host now instead of the show and it may be on some type of streaming platform like Netflix or hulu just because we’re in the streaming ages at this moment in time

 

 

Capital have nailed it with this year’s line-up, reaching out to newer, younger stars, who have set camp to the top of the musical charts.
