Vox Pop | Gender Equality

Inequality in the workplace is a topic that has been discussed frequently nowadays, but different people have different visions, so we went to find out what people think about that topic.

Decades ago, gender equality was unbalanced, leaving women in the dust. Although, human rights within this generation have increased in terms of allowing women to participate within events which they couldn’t a few generations ago.

This can be noticed when comparing the statistics of women between previous generations with the current generation. For example, women nowadays often receive the same wages as men. Previous generations prove that women used to be underpaid because of their gender.

social media

Social media is a wonderful thing, it helps us connect to the internet and friends online and allows us to do anything we want.
But there are people who use the internet for their own gains, making them do horrible decision. Some people would use social media to harm, threat, annoy or attack others for entertainment or just do so. Everyone tries to be safe on the internet but some people will go to far lengths to cause trouble by sending viruses or accessing private accounts through hacking.

Since now, social media has now extended to phones using them as apps and game consoles using them to communicate through gaming.
And still, most people are finding new ways to attack others with phones and games, almost to the point where the situation is to dire to deal with, causing the victims to get involved with the police or committing self harm possibly leading to suicide. Which can have devastating effects to the human race as we know it.

As bad as that may sound, not all is doom and gloom. While there is bad things people do, there also is helpful people who provide useful information of news updates about the world.
Many people want to help others but can’t do so due to living out so far from them, but now we have the internet, people use social media to assist those in need with help. Many situations have been solved thanks to social media with helpful people.

Doctors and nurses put up diagnosis on social media to make people aware of illness you could catch or have. Fitness teachers show how you can maintain a fit body by checking their websites for more details, and news broadcasters show the weather, news and sports online for all to see.

Now that social media is everywhere and almost everyone is using it, people think it’s now a part of human life. but most people think its too much for us. With most of the resources that come from online, and the entertainment that comes from it. people are now living with online connectivity to social media to the point where social media is causing young people to join them without knowing what to do, and giving their life to join it. Which now causes a new problem.

TWO DAYS WITHOUT SOCIAL MEDIA

Social Media safety .

With people using phones, consoles, tablets, laptops and desktops (computers), no one is spending time offline. Some people are now less active, pay less attention to their surroundings, and spend most of their life at home. We want you people to make this aware, if no one is getting the equal amount of offline as they are online. Old problems could become worse. People will gain anxiety of going near people due to interacting online, they could fall into depression due to being alone, and they could become so addicted, they would possibly go insane for it and lose self control of themselves.

So please, help show young people the safety and dangers of online activity. Show them how social media works on different devices, set their settings to parental controls, and make sure they stay away from trouble.
If you know anyone who may have an addiction to social media, try to get them to spend more time outside by going to a park, hang out at a bowling alley, go to a beach or go out on a walk, or go to a gym and work out with friends.

Photo & Picture tips (Pros and Cons) of Social Media

Whenever there’s a significant technological advance that fundamentally changes the way people live, it generates debate over the nature of that change and whether it’s “good” or “bad.” Internet-based, social media tools like email, Facebook, and YouTube that have revolutionized the way human beings get information and communicate and interact with one another. In the relatively short time, they’ve been in existence, social media has had some very positive effects in terms of empowering and connecting people. At the same time, they have provided new platforms for some decidedly unhealthy and destructive behaviors Some of the leading arguments for this technology–the pros and cons of social media–are outlined below. There’s plenty of anecdotal evidence to support either assessment; however, research into the effects of social media is still in its infancy, so scientific data are relatively scarce. What is clear is that the internet, social media sites, and the digital devices on which they operate are here to stay. Therefore, it is incumbent on each of us to understand, and help others to understand, how to use them productively and responsibly.

Family Abuse

The Content within this page will be focused towards Family abuse within youth families, upon reading this page. You will read about the definition of family abuse, individual causes which may lead to family abuse with the effects which may take place. As well as a solution for each cause. This page will also consist of several video productions which relate to families, productions such as interviews, surveys and a two question vox pops.

Family abuse is generally defined as a universal issue within most families, particularly youth families whom may not know how to manage. This issue mainly consists of verbal, emotional and physical abuse between family members. For example, parents who constantly mark their children will create an abusive relationship between the family members. Also known as family abuse.

There are several common causes for family abuse for any family may experience, the causes generally have a variety of solutions to prevent the causes from occurring further in the future. Although, the solutions within this page are generally the typical solutions.

Financing ~ Family abuse can be a result for families if they are struggling to finance their life well, Families who struggle to manage to pay for housing, food and education. Are generally going to use forms of abuse to try and get back onto track.

Although this may seem effective, it isn’t healthy. The main cause of this is generally to do with the amount of stress which is gained from struggling to pay off their invoices. The effects for this issue can be major, the family can risk the possibility of losing their properties. Children who are in education will also find it harder to learn due to the lack of support which they will receive.

There is a solution which can prevent families from experiencing this issue, and the solution is to manage money as a family. This will allow family members to become calm and notice which invoices have been paid. It is also best to place income aside every month, to be left for when a major issue occurs financially.

Communication ~ Communication within families is a key skill which should be associated with every family, as a family lacking communication can lead to major disadvantages. A family without communication generally don’t eat meals together when optional, as well as generally talk about issues which relate to the family members.

The causes for this mainly refer to the family members and their intentions. Mainly having intentions to keep personal issues to themselves, or ignoring what the family members have to say.

This generally causes lack of confidence as family members will find it hard to gain confidence in general life, let alone confidence between families. This is a horrific effect as this can prompt students who are in youth families with this issue to achieve low grades. When they can achieve higher, although their motivation to do so is affected by their confidence. Families can also suffer from this issue as a lack of communication will deprive family members and parents, causing arguments between the behavior within the families.

The Typical solutions to this relates to communication, all families need to do is start to eat meals together as a family, participate events as a family and have open conversations like a family. Doing so, the members within the family will start to gain more confidence as their family are open.

Every family is completely different, so these typical solutions for the causes which are mentioned, have a possibility of not being helpful. If this is your case, feel free to roam the references which was used to fetch this information.

Girls eventually start to spend more as they enter their teens and begin to discover expensive make-up, hair (weave etc) and shampoo. Boys on the other hand do not spend as much as girls do. However, the most that boys would spend their money on is online games, clothes and trainers.
